Welcome to iTeachPlus! By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using iTeachPlus (“the Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Registration
a. Account Creation
Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and must keep this information updated.
b. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
4. Use of Services
a. License
The Platform grants users a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the services for personal and non‑commercial educational purposes.
b. Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
- engage in illegal or fraudulent activities
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- disrupt the operation of the Platform
- upload harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
5. Course Enrollment and Access
a. Enrollment
Students may enroll in courses by paying the applicable fees and agreeing to course requirements.
b. Access
Access to courses and materials will be provided as described at the time of enrollment. iTeachPlus reserves the right to modify course content, schedules, or instructors if necessary.
6. Payments
Course fees must be paid at the time of enrollment unless otherwise specified. The Platform may accept multiple payment methods depending on the user’s location.
7. Standard Refund Policy
Refund requests may be submitted within seven (7) days of enrollment, provided that the service has not been used or accessed in any form.
8. Class Cancellation & Rescheduling
Students must notify tutors or the Platform within a reasonable timeframe if they need to cancel or reschedule a class. Repeated missed classes without notice may result in loss of the session.
iTeachPlus reserves the right to reschedule classes due to tutor availability or operational reasons.
9. Tutor Availability
Tutors are independent educators working through the Platform. While iTeachPlus aims to maintain consistent scheduling, tutor availability may occasionally change. In such cases the Platform may assign a replacement tutor where possible.
10. Class Disruption and Force Majeure
a. Force Majeure
The Platform shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, or inability to deliver classes caused by events beyond the reasonable control of the Platform.
Force Majeure Events may include but are not limited to:
- war or armed conflict
- political instability or civil unrest
- government restrictions
- internet shutdowns or infrastructure failures
- natural disasters
- public health emergencies
- other events outside the reasonable control of the tutor or the Platform
If circumstances such as war, conflict, or other events beyond the reasonable control of the tutor or the Platform arise in the tutor’s country of residence and result in temporary or permanent unavailability of the tutor, such circumstances shall be considered a Force Majeure Event.
During such events, the Platform may not be able to guarantee normal class delivery.
b. Refunds During Force Majeure
Payments for scheduled classes may not be refundable when services are interrupted due to Force Majeure Events.
c. Alternative Solutions
In such situations, the Platform may offer the following alternatives:
Account Credit
Unused balances may be converted into account credit usable within 6–12 months.
Tutor Replacement
A new tutor may be assigned where available.
Pause Option
Students may temporarily pause their classes until conditions stabilize.
Program Transfer
Students may transfer their remaining balance to another course or program.
d. Platform Commitment
The Platform will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption, support students, and provide fair alternatives when classes cannot proceed normally.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials, course content, and platform resources are the intellectual property of iTeachPlus or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws.
Users may access materials for personal educational use only.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iTeachPlus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the Platform.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Canada.
14. Changes to Terms
The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
15. Student Conduct Policy
Students agree to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior during classes and interactions on the Platform. The following behaviors are prohibited:
- harassment, discrimination, or abusive language
- recording classes without permission
- sharing inappropriate content
- disrupting the learning environment
Violation of these rules may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of access to the Platform.
16. Tutor Responsibilities
Tutors using the Platform agree to:
- provide accurate information about their qualifications
- conduct classes professionally and respectfully
- respect scheduled class times
- maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
The Platform reserves the right to suspend or remove tutors who violate these standards.
17. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a user and the Platform regarding services or payments, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue through good‑faith communication with the Platform’s support team.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of Canada.
18. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Users agree to contact the Platform before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute through their financial institution.
If a chargeback is initiated without prior communication, the Platform reserves the right to suspend the user’s account until the matter is resolved.
