About Me
I am Masoumeh Khatibi, a passionate French language instructor and translator. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in French from Allameh Tabataba’i University and a Master’s degree in French Translation from Alzahra University. My journey with foreign languages and translation began in my teenage years, leading me to specialize in French for my higher education.
Professional Experience
My teaching and translation career started during my university years. I have collaborated with various publications, including the Anthropology and Culture website and several journals. Currently, I work with Alborz Publishing, where I have translated and published several acclaimed French novels such as “Your Second Life Begins When You Realize You Only Have One” and “The Day the Lions Will Eat Salad” by Raphaëlle Giordano, and “Forest of Shadows” by Franck Thilliez.
Teaching Philosophy and Approach
Since 2017, I have been teaching French to children and teenagers at Iran Language Institute. I have completed numerous courses aimed at effectively teaching young learners. I love working with children and always strive to create lively and engaging classes. In addition to teaching younger students, I also work with adults. Following the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent shift to online education, I have successfully transitioned to online teaching. I currently offer both group and private online classes for children, teenagers, and adults.
